Book Stop 'about as good as you can get'

Book Stop co-owner Claire Fellows sat next to a 93-year-old cash register as soothing classical music greeted customers on a recent afternoon.
Tina Bailey and Fellows inherited the register when they opened the Book Stop on 2504 N. Campbell Ave. in 1967, and it's still used to ring up sales.
They moved the airy, dog-friendly shop to its current home on North Fourth Avenue in August 2007. The nearly 3,000-square-foot space holds close to 100,000 titles, according to Bailey. Full story... |
